Mournful echoes whispering
guiding me through the moors
An oath I'd've sworn to find her
The voices led to a coast
She floated there like a phoenix reborn
Sunset painted flames on her tattered gown
Her face shined bright as she saw me once more
Arms spreading towards me, luring me inshore
Then, her smile turned to fire, wrath
Howls, an odious choir, cursing me
Nails ripping flesh
and salting the wounds
trembling with horror
as the sea consumed
"Let me undress thy skin
and follow me to
an everlasting
dream in the azure"
A hail,from the coming storm
A farewell to the dawn

After listening to Ysyry Mollvün, listening to Downfall of Nur was urgent and turned out to be one of the best decisions I have made in quite some time: Umbras de Barbagia is simply magisterial; the atmosphere can hardly be compared to anything else. There is a deep, palpable connection to nature imbueing each very fibre of this record. The amalgamation of black metal and folk elements is done with a high intuition for detail and class, resulting in a highly immersive experience. Wonderful. David Fischer
Another scorcher from the phenomenal one-man black metal outfit STARER, with mind-flaying riffs and eerie tremolo-picked melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 31, 2023
Crushing blackened doom from this German band that counterbalances blinding fury with moments of surprising, melancholy melody. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 8, 2023

Officially got too impatient for their new album Seventh Secular Crusade to be available here on bandcamp so hoping this album plus the couple new albums (to me) I recently bought will keep distracted enough until I can buy that too.
Swedish Melodic Black Metal just has that sound. Glad my Dissection and Sacramentum albums finally have some company. ChaosFury
